Fructooligosaccharides (FOS 0.75g), filler: potato starch, Live cultures: (Lactobacillus acidophilus Rosell-52, Bifidobacterium infantis Rosell-33, Bifidobacterium bifidum Rosell-71).Each sachet provides 3 billion live cultures and 0.75g Fructooligosaccharide fibres.
Mix contents of sachet with cold food or drink and consume, preferably with breakfast.Infants from birth to 3 years: one sachet per day.Children 4 to 12 years: one to two sachets per day as desired.Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers: one sachet per day.Or take as professionally directed. For best results, take daily. OptiBac Probiotics may be used on an ongoing basis.NB: Ideally avoid mixing with hot foods or fluids, or acidic drinks such as orange juice. For infants, this can be taken with formula milk when it is at room temperature, but not when heated as heat reduces the viability of the bacteria.
It is not recommended to give live cultures to patients who: are severely immunosuppressed, have pancreatitis, are in the Intensive Care Unit, have blood in the stool, have central venous catheters; or to post-surgical patients with open wounds, or infants with short bowel syndrome; unless under a doctor’s care.Please note this product may contain tiny traces of dairy and/or soy, and is therefore not recommended to those with a strict allergy to dairy.? It should be fine however, for those with lactose intolerance.
