Treatment of candidal vulvitis or balanitis (thrush).
It should be used as an adjunct to the treatment of candidal vaginitis.
Although this cream provides relief from the external irritation caused by vaginal thrush, it cannot treat any internal cause of the infection.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend a treatment for this.
Clotrimazole 2% w/wIt also contains : Benzyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetyl Palmitate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol and Purified Water (see the enclosed leaflet for further information)
Wash your hands before and after using the cream. Apply the cream thinly to affected areas 2 or 3 times a day and rub in gently. Treatment should be continued for up to one week after treating the internal infection in women and for two weeks in men. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
