Calpol Fastmelts are strawberry flavoured tablets which relieve pain and lower temperature when there is a fever.
They are most suitable for children from 6-12 years of age.
Calpol Fast Melts should be sucked gently until they melt on the tongue.
There is no need to take with a glass of water as they quickly melt into a pleasant tasting paste that is easily swallowed.
Calpol Fastmelts are used in the treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, teething pain and sore throat, and as an antipyretic (eg fever associated with colds and flu).
Each orodipersible tablet contains 250mg paracetamol, also contains: Aspartame (E951).
Tablet should be placed on tongue where it will rapidly disperse to a pleasant tasting paste that can easily be ingested. Alternatively the tablet can be dispersed in a teaspoon of water or milk.Children 6-12 years 1-2 tabletsAdults and children over 12 years 2-4 tabletsTake up to 4 times a day. Leave at least 4 hours between doses.Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
