Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension is used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain (including teething pain), and as an antipyretic (bring temperature down). It is a strawberry flavour sugar free suspension which contains paracetamol.
This medicine is suitable for children over 6 years old. It also suits adults who find paracetamol tablets and capsules difficult to swallow.
Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension Liquid contains:Strawberry flavoured, sugar-free and colour-free suspension containing in 5 ml:Paracetamol 250 mg.
Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.Always use the syringe supplied with the pack.Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.Leave at least 4 hours between doses.Children 6-8 years: 5ml every 4 hours. Maximum 20ml in 24 hoursChildren 8-10 years: 7.5ml every 4 hours. Maximum 30ml in 24 hoursChildren 10-12 years: 10ml every 4 hours. Maximum 40ml in 24 hoursChildren 12-16 years: 10-15ml every 4 hours. Maximum 60ml in 24 hoursAdults and children over 16 years : 10-20ml every 4 hours. Maximum 80ml in 24 hours
